PROPHET JAMES C. BANKS, JR.

Prophet James C. Banks Jr. (born November 19, 1974) is an African-American pastor, musician and recording artist. He is the founding Pastor of The New Deliverance Bible Church, a non-denominational apostolic church. Prophet Banks, who was born to the proud parents of the late Deacon James C. Banks Sr. and Betty Banks, grew up in Houston, Texas attending Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church under the late Clifton Ellis and current Pastor Lester Renfro. He spent his teenage years as a saxophonist playing professionally around the bayou city with gospel groups and received many awards.
On Sunday December 15, 2002, Prophet Banks answered his call to the ministry under the late Pastor Johnny McClain Jr. at Greater Star Baptist Church. It wasn't until Sunday February 16, 2003 that he preached his first sermon in titled “(What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do taken from Exodus 14:13-14)” and received his license. On July 24, 2005 Pastor Amos Smith of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church led by God to ordained him to be able to function in every aspect of the ministry. In 2009, He served as the Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Pastor R.L. Hudspeth of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church.
He married the beautiful Prophetess Yolanda Banks on July 29, 2010, and together they share three lovely children - Jaylyn, Aniyah and Aiden and founded New Deliverance Bible Church in August 05, 2012. In April of 2013 New Deliverance Bible Church became an affiliate ministry of Living Water Christian Outreach Ministries under the auspices of Apostle Barry Burrell and Apostle Dorri Burrell.
It was there, that Prophet Banks was to be trained and groomed for healing and deliverance in apostolic ministry. For two years He served faithfully on the leadership team of Living Water Christian Cathedral and actively participated in the Living Water Music Ministry.
In November of 2015, Prophet and Prophetess Banks were release by God through Apostle Barry Burrell to relaunch New Deliverance Bible Church. Membership is anticipated to grow as Prophet Banks continues to follow in the mandate and vision that God has planned for his life and his ministry.

Administration in 2010 and uses both her corporate and collegiate experience to serve the body of Christ in marketplace ministries. She is a prophetic intercessor, mentor, and founder of Women of Wisdom Empowerment Ministries, a multifaceted teaching and speaking ministry that emphasizes supernatural empowerment to live transformational and productive lives through Christ Jesus.
She accepted Christ, at the age of 16, was baptized and became an active youth member of Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie R. Davis. In 2001, she was filled with the Holy Ghost – with the evidence of speaking in tongues, at New Light Christian Center Church, where she grew stronger in the word of faith and intercessory prayer. It was there, under the leadership of Bishop I.V. Hilliard, she was called by God into ministry but would go on for several more years before answering her call in 2012.
She was trained and groomed for healing and deliverance in apostolic ministry under the tutelage of Apostles Barry and Dorri Burrell of Living Water Christian Outreach Ministries; where she has served faithfully in areas of leadership, church administration, media, marketing, technology, youth ministry instructor and intercessory prayer leader.
When she is not serving others through ministry or business she is writing or spending time with her husband and their children.

Prophetess Yolanda Banks, a licensed and ordained minister, is the owner and operator of JB Design Concepts, Ingenuity House Publishing, and the Pastor and Founder of New Deliverance Bible Church alongside her husband, Bishop James C. Banks, Jr. Together they share a blended family that includes three lovely children – Jaylyn, Aniyah, and Aiden.
Prophetess Banks is a woman whom God has graced and gifted with many anointing’s that she moves in fluently with prophetic wisdom and excellence. She received her B.S. degree in Business
